It was a busy and happy Thanksgiving day. Mom woke up early and got the bird in, so no picture. But here she is slaving away at funeral potatoes.

And my dad on Grandma's side getting the Ham together. Note: In this picture we see a ham drenched in brown sugar and being sprayed with Dr.Pepper, don't fret it was diet.

And while the host and hostess were slaving away the guests sat down to look at all the Black Friday sales event ads. Which, honestly, can be just as daunting as cooking for 30 people.

When the food was on it's last stretch in the oven everyone pitched in to move all the furniture out of the front room, turning the space into a very crowded lunch room....

Yes, despite my trying really hard there is a few people missing from this picture.

To get ready for dessert the kids sat around and played some card games. The adults, well, they talked.

The Finale' was a dessert buffet with all the traditional pies and a few crazy ones! It was a lot of fun having everyone over. Food always tastes better when accompanied by good conversation, laughter, and family!

Stay tuned for more pictures tomorrow!
